Our mission is to help you ensure your elderly parents are receiving the best medial care possible, while you maintain your own life including work and family. Whether you live 10 minutes from your parents or 1000 miles from them, we will make you feel like you are right there, in the doctors office with them. You can feel confidant that your parents are in good hands. Our services will save you time, money and frustration and allow you to concentrate on other aspects of your life.

Initial Phone Consultation
We will discuss the purpose of the upcoming
appointment and your other various, although
pertinent, past medical history, the names and
dosages of any medications you are taking-including
over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. The more you are
able to share with us, the better prepared we will
be at your appointment. We will discuss what you
want to get from us, along with what our services
tend to involve, as well as the contract and
authorization forms you will need to sign.
The Doctor's Visit
We will meet your loved on at their doctor's office about 15
minutes before your appointment. During this
time we will discuss your appointment and any
updates about your health that you'd like us to
know.
During the appointment, RNs To Go may tape
record the entire visit, and will take notes. We are there solely to
advocate for you and to ensure that options are
discussed and that all of your questions have been
asked and answered. We may also suggest
questions you may not have considered. |

After Your Appointment
RNs To Go will create a written summary,
highlighting what was said, what follow-up you may
need, other appointments you need to make, any
changes to your medications, etc. This will be
in an easy-to-read format that you can share with
family members and also refer to when you have those
moments of wondering, "Now, what did he tell me
about…." Because of our extensive medical
background, we will be able to translate any
doctor-jargon you may not understand, help clarify
and simplify all the medical information, therapies,
tests needed, reasons for treatment suggestions,
etc.
Our goal is that you will leave your appointment(s)
with a clear understanding of your medical care,
follow-up needs, referrals, therapies, and more. You
will know what lab tests and X rays have been done,
or need to be scheduled, and why. And we will
arrange for you to receive, at your home, copies of
any and all diagnostic test results. Then, if you
are planning to see another MD or provider for
continuing care, you can take this information with
you. Plus, you will be able to share all this data
with your loved ones.
Your Rights and Responsibilities in a Nutshell:
Rights: You have the right to receive optimal medical care.
Responsibilities: You have the responsibility to follow the medical plan set up with your health care providers.
